Registered Nurse or Licensed Professional Nurses – Full-time
This position is responsible for the delivery of total patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation; will maintain standards of professional nursing and goals and objectives of the Med/Surg; and will perform related duties as required. 
Must be a graduate from an approved school of nursing; and be eligible for or currently licensed in the State of South Dakota. Emergency Room experience strongly preferred.  Certification in CPR required.  Must be able to work a rotating shift including nights and weekends.  Full-time positions working 36 hours/week.  Eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.  Pay is dependent on experience.

Responsible for preparing meals for patients and cafeteria line. Serving food and beverages.  Performing duties relating to dishwashing and sanitizing operations. This position will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.  Part-time positions working approximately 20+ hours per week. Ward Clerk - Full-time
Provides indirect patient care.  Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.  Prepares and compiles records in the Nursing Unit.  Initiates direction from physician and nursing staff.  Participates in performance improvement activities.  Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies and procedures and standards. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  Must understand medical terminology.  Previous hospital experience desired, but not required. Must have good communication and customer service skills, be dependable, professional and have the ability to support a team work environment.  Must have the ability to use computer applications.  Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Business Office Clerk- Full-time
Performs a variety of business office support duties including patient registration, assisting with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, answering telephone and patient/visitor inquiries. Must be willing to cross-train & provide backup support to all areas of the business office.  Requires high school diploma and at least one year experience working in a business office environment.  Additional coursework or equivalent experience in business or related field.  Must be detail oriented, organized, have great customer service skills and a positive attitude. Previous hospital and/or business office experience preferred. This is a full-time position and must be available to work a weekend rotation. SOCIAL WORKER (BSW)
Responsible for providing psychosocial assessments & intervention to patients of Coteau des Prairies Health Care System. Facilitating the movement of patients to appropriate levels of care. Referring patients & family members to appropriate resources & services. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology from an accredited school with two years related experience in a hospital or medical setting required. Master’s Degree is preferred.  A license in the State of South Dakota in respected field & must have QMHP endorsement. Valid South Dakota driver’s license required. This is a full-time day position and may be required to be on call.  Offering a competitive wage & comprehensive benefits package.

HOME HEALTH AIDE
This position is responsible for providing routine, personal healthcare such as bathing, dressing, grooming to elderly, recovering or disabled persons in their home. Performs light housekeeping tasks as needed. Maintains records of patient care, condition, problems & progress. Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.  Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.  Must use/own vehicle to make home visits. Mileage is reimbursed. This is a part-time day position working 24 hours per week. Eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. Pay is dependent on experience.
